All roads lead to Port Alfred!

There are many routes leading to our slice of paradise. The road from Gauteng may be long but it's straight and the scenery is splendid. What's more there is very little traffic once you leave the highway at Gariep Dam. There are also lots of fun places to stop off and enjoy en route and splendid guest homes and B & Bs to spend the night.

Port Alfred is on a very good road network and right in the centre of ROUTE 72, halfway between the two large cities of Port Elizabeth and East London in the Eastern Cape - both of which have an international airport. It's also an easy drive from Bloemfontein via Gariep Dam, Cradock and Grahamstown.
